Mr Upadhyay specialises in all aspects of spinal surgery from the cervical spine to the sacrum with a specialist interest in paediatric and adult deformity. Operative practice includes reconstructive spinal surgery for adult and paediatric deformity, degenerative, congenital, trauma, infection or tumour conditions of the spine.
Mr Upadhyay partakes in the complex spine on-call rota for advice and emergency surgery (all aspects of spinal pathology except cauda equina syndrome and intra-dural pathology), at both adult and paediatric major trauma centres and tertiary referral centres in the South West of England.
Attends regular Regional, National and International spinal meetings as faculty and delegate ensuring specialist knowledge and presentation skills remain at highest level. Attended expert conferences run by Bond Solon.
